This study concerns the design of a semi-rotary table for the automation sector, in particular for quality control applications in the pharmaceutical field.
The table was designed to carry a particular type of optical equipment on it that can detect impurities on the product lines in the pharmaceutical field.
The table must be able to perform cyclic alternating rotations with very high dynamics, allowing the control equipment to follow the product that is to be monitored for the necessary fraction of time for data acquisition to then move quickly to the next product. The typical production rate settles in the range of 250-300 pcs/minute.
